Location: Allentown PA
Duration: 18 months Contract
Job Description: Position Details (Day to Day Work Job Description ): Windows server administration within our NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) compliant environment.
Job Summary
-Candidate will be primarily focused on monthly Windows server patching and cyber security testing of all baseline changes to the servers -Looking for a candidate with technical ability to learn -Any certs to go along with candidate s experience would be great -Client will look to this person to eventually automate & improve process and then take on new pieces of work
Primary Responsibilities
Includes the following, but not limited to:
-Monthly security patching and cyber security testing of Windows servers and associated hardware -Troubleshooting and operational support of Windows Server OS -Support projects to build new servers following procedures and processes -Full support of NERC CIP processes and procedures to ensure Windows environment stays compliant with NERC CIP requirements -AD/SCCM/SEP experience is a plus
Basic Qualifications
-Windows Server 2019 experience
-Virtual server experience
-Server hardware experience (e.g., Cisco UCS servers)
-2 or 4 year degree
-2 to 5 years demonstrated experience supporting a Microsoft environment including building, troubleshooting and patching -Experience working within a compliance regulated environment a plus -Able to work non-standard business hours periodically -On-call required -Strong communication skills -Live within 50 miles of Allentown, PA for on call support
