We are looking for a candidate who can work one of two shifts, either a full time Thursday through Monday or a weekend only contract work Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday or Friday/Saturday/Sunday. We have several options available. Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Caretaker to join our team. As an Animal Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing quality care and support to animals in our facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who have a passion for animal welfare and want to make a difference in the lives of animals.

Duties:
- Provide daily care and feeding of animals, including dogs, cats, and other small animals
- Clean and maintain animal enclosures, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
- Monitor animal behavior and report any signs of illness or distress to the appropriate staff
- Assist with adoption questions, and paperwork associated with finalizing the adoption
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Perform basic animal husbandry tasks, including exercise and socialization
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities

Skills:
- Strong animal handling skills, including the ability to safely restrain animals when necessary
- Familiarity with pet sitting and pet grooming techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
