Overview:

The key goal of the Store Maintenance Team Member at QuickChek is to perform duties in regards to the upkeep and presentation of the store. This individual provides support to the store team by maintaining areas throughout the inside and outside of the store. In a Fuel Store, additional duties involving the Fuel Area and will be the responsibility of the Store Maintenance Team Member. The individual is required to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards throughout the location.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service and tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner
2. Perform cleaning and organizational tasks, as assigned
3. Perform maintenance and general upkeep of the property
4. Clean the parking lot and keep landscaping free of debris
5. Complete the Fuel Checklist daily and perform required tasks, as needed, to ensure compliance
6. Communicate any issues with the Store Leader
7. Clean fuel dispensers, fire extinguisher cases, fuel storage boxes, and fuel kiosks
8. Change fuel prices on dispensers, as requested
9. Maintain washer fluid and paper towel levels
10. Empty and maintain recycling machines
11. Empty garbage cans and cigarette receptacles
12. Empty vacuums
13. Maintain and clean the carwash, if applicable
14. Shovel and salt during inclement weather
15. Clean store windows and doors
16. Clean and maintain the restrooms
17. Work through the cleanliness checklists
18. Complete and schedule minor preventive maintenance tasks
19. Clean interior floor throughout the store, coolers, and storage areas
20. Keep up-to-date on new policies and procedures
21. Attend all mandatory/scheduled store meetings
22. Practice Loss Prevention policies

Qualifications:

1. Completion of required on-the-job training programs and learning activities
2. Personal behaviors must align with QuickCheks values
3. Must have reliable transportation to and from work
4. Strong communication skills
5. Must be alert and attentive; impairment for any reason is not permitted
6. Must be a team player and be able to communicate effectively with customers and Team Members

Compensation Disclosure Statement:
Pay is from $15.60 - $16.10 / hour
