Northport Part-Time Nanny - Job Code: LOPTNorthport2

Kids Ages: 3-year-old, 1-year-old, and a newborn due in October

Estimated Salary: $28-32/hour

Hours (Flexibility Needed): Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-5pm/6pm, potential for a 3rd day when baby arrives

Requirements:

  • Prior nanny experience
  • Experience with infants and toddlers
  • Focus primarily on childcare with minimal housework (tidying, dishes, folding laundry)
  • Ability to assist with meal preparation is ideal
  • Energetic and active to engage with the children, take them to the park, and facilitate playtime activities
  • Team-oriented approach to work alongside the mother who is home and involved

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Nanny to join our family in Northport. The role involves caring for our 3-year-old, 1-year-old, and newborn (due in October) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the potential for an additional day once the baby arrives.

The ideal candidate will have prior nanny experience, particularly with infants and toddlers. Your primary focus will be on providing attentive and nurturing care to the children. While minimal housework is required, we appreciate assistance with light tidying, dishes, and possibly meal preparation.

We value an active and engaging approach to childcare, including activities such as playtime, trips to the park, and creative play. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as the mother will be present and involved in daily activities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
