Kamasu Sushi is Hiring a Line Cook Near New York, NY
We are currently looking for someone from Monday-Friday 4PM-Close (10-11ish depending on the night).
- Entering orders into a point of sale terminal.
- Interacting and servicing guests in a friendly and upbeat manner.
- Providing excellent customer service
- Cutting, chopping, slicing, and fileting different types of produce/proteins (especially different types of fish).
- Preparing food in a fast paced environment.
- Preparing various dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
- Sterilizing all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before/during/after every use.
- Ensuring that all prep list/checklist and any ordering need is being done every day for consistency purposes.
- The ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining the best product quality.
