About the Job
Kamasu is looking for an hourly team member for a counter service/quick serve style restaurant, serving sushi, preparing food, interacting with guests and helping to upkeep. 
We are currently looking for someone from Monday-Friday 4PM-Close (10-11ish depending on the night).
Responsibilities:
  • Entering orders into a point of sale terminal.
  • Interacting and servicing guests in a friendly and upbeat manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Cutting, chopping, slicing, and fileting different types of produce/proteins (especially different types of fish).
  • Preparing food in a fast paced environment.
  • Preparing various dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
  • Sterilizing all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before/during/after every use.
  • Ensuring that all prep list/checklist and any ordering need is being done every day for consistency purposes.
Requirements:
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining the best product quality.
