We are currently hiring part-time Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for multiple departments. DSPs work with people with developmental or intellectual disabilities. This is a perfect job for someone who has experience as a mentor, teacher, teaching aide, DSP, coach, or counselor; however, no experience is necessary or required. We serve all ages and have various openings throughout Onondaga County.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with services and requirements for establishing eligibility.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills.
• Must have a smartphone with data and location services, a clean driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift materials and participate in physical activities related to the job.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in teaching life skills or supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Rate of pay $16.00-$20.00 an hour based on experience and program worked in.

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
