The HR Dept LLC is Hiring a Contract Recruiter (Part-Time) Near Grove, KY

The HR Dept is a virtual company, but the ideal applicant will live within driving distance of Clarksville, TN. We work mostly with small businesses handling their recruiting and other Human Resources needs. To learn more about The HR Dept, please visit www.thehrdeptky.com

The Recruiter will assist in managing all aspects of the recruiting process for The HR Dept’s clients, as well as assisting on other client projects as needed. In addition, this role may assist in new client acquisition. This will begin as a Part-Time position, with the potential for the right person to move into Full-Time as we grow.

Recruiter Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain job postings on various job boards
  • Conduct phone screenings with applicants
  • Call and conduct reference checks
  • Communicate with clients, including weekly updates
  • Provide weekly updates to the CEO
  • Log all recruiting activity for tracking
  • Communicate updates and other necessary information to applicants
  • Create and edit documents as needed for client projects

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 2-3 years Recruiting experience
  • Driven and self-managed
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and coachable

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems a plus
  • Familiarity with job boards as an employer, especially Indeed
  • Experience with Google Drive, DropBox

This is a hybrid remote role with flexible scheduling.
