Aftermath Inc is Hiring a Part Time Dispatcher Near Aurora, IL

Job Description:

Position Title: Part Time  Dispatcher - Contract role

Location: Aurora, IL or Remote/Work From Home

Compensation: 

  • $25 per hour

Hours & Schedule:

  • 15-30 hours per week covering shifts during nights (7pm-7am CST) and weekend days/nights (Sat-Sun)
  • Flexible days & hours
  • 6 month contracted position, perm potential

Job Overview:

Dispatchers serve as empathetic customer advocates & primary point of contact in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment. This role takes inbound calls to schedule on-site assessments, walks customers through the biohazard remediation process, communicate with and dispatches our field crews, sets up jobs for success, and supports our field operations team. 

Dispatcher Primary Responsibilities:

  • Field incoming calls and provides information regarding service offerings/process to potential customers
  • Schedule appointments, determine appropriate crew, and dispatch crew to the job site
  • Audit job files & call quality
  • Other duties as needed and assigned

Experience and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years customer service, sales, or other experience
  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • B.A. or B.S degree preferred, not required
  • Available 15-30 hours per week
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment & via phone
  • Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer & related technology skills
