City of Tyler is Hiring a Police Courier (Part-Time) Near TX 75702, TX

Assist the Police Department with daily activities, including transporting vehicles for repair, delivery of department mail, and delivery and pick up of supplies.

Deliver vehicles for repair and preventative maintenance.
Deliver department mail and pick up checks.
Pick up supplies at stores and estimates on damaged vehicles.
Assist in equipment inspection and vehicle inventory.
On a daily basis, must be able to stand 10 minutes, walk 20 minutes, and sit 1 hour.
Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs., climb stairs, and reach for supplies.
Must be able to communicate with the public, employees, and management in person and using a radio or telephone.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. This position allows twenty (20) hours maximum per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00AM to 11:00AM. Times can be flexible during those days and between the listed hours with supervisor discretion. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License with a clear driving record.
