Job Description:
Experienced AppFolio and Quickbooks Accountant / Bookkeeper needed for a small residential property management company specializing in single family and small plex homes. This position 2-3 days a week 16-24 hours as necessary is an in house position working closely together with the manager to perform all bookkeeping tasks of the property management field.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years AppFolio and Quickbooks experience.
Payroll and payroll tax payments using the online state and federal platforms
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to minimize multitasking for practical work completion of tasks
Strong time management skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
All functions of AppFolio utilized
End of year reporting and 1099 reporting experience required
Management of onboarding and offboarding of owners and tenants in AppFolio

Compensation:
Pay based on experience $35.00-$45.00 per hour DOE
Current books are immaculately maintained. Easy walk in ready to take over trouble free.
Part time ~ 3 days per week.
Office hours 8:30-4:30
References required

Summary & Additional Opportunities:
This bookkeeping position is responsible for monthly reconciling of all accounts, rent posting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing between the company Quickbooks account and AppFolio, Tenant ledger postings, owner ledger postings, monthly payouts and owner packet statement postings, move in and out Flows, tenant final accounting, commission payout and all other functions of tenant / owner and vendor accounts within AppFolio. Quickbooks reconciling and postings for the company account, etc. End of year reporting and 1099 preparation. We do not use Journal Entries ever. Current books are immaculate. Step in easy and ready to go. No clean up necessary.

Monthly payroll and payroll tax payments through the Oregon and Federal payment platforms.

More pay can be negotiated if this Bookkeeper/Accountant is interested in providing administrative assistant duties working in office alongside the property manager. Duties include helping with tenant notices, lease renewals, vendor communications and setup, answering office phone, monitoring the email and utility company correspondence as necessary.
