Job Title:

Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Reports To:

President and Treasurer

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to provide bookkeeping support to Villa del Sol and work closely with the Managers, Board of Directors, and office staff to efficiently track and manage financial data. Perform various duties including accurate reporting of association transactions.

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
• 3 years of full charge bookkeeping experience.
• Six months to one year of C3 Community Management Software and TownSquare experience.
• Proficient in creating/using spreadsheets and data entry with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information with discretion.
• Physical demands include frequent sitting, talking, computer input using fingers and hands, primarily indoors.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Board in developing a long-term financial plan and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collect, track, and manage homeowner association fees and other financial transactions.
• Collect, track, and report HOA dues and delinquencies.
• Utilize accounting software to record and track financial data.
• Prepare financial reports and statements.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Stay up-to-date with technical accounting standards and regulations
• Provide support for tax preparation activities.
• Generate various financial statements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
