Job Title: Part-Time Mitigation Technician
Reports to: Operations Manager
Position level: Individual Contributor; does not have direct reports
This position is eligible for our annual incentive bonus program.
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Facilities Maintenance & Bio-hazard Technician. In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with the crucial tasks of assessing, building a cope of work, and repairing damaged properties. This will be done by conducting thorough clean-ups, safely removing bio-hazards, and meticulously restoring sites to their original condition. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical robustness, possess a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols, and exhibit a strong ability to adhere to precise instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Remain readily available for immediate dispatch when on-call.
  • Serve as the primary onsite contact for clients, addressing their needs and questions efficiently.
  • Regularly monitor job sites and provide comprehensive documentation (provided to you by the company).
  • Travel to various job sites as required.
  • Adhere to daily safety procedures and be able to successfully pass a respirator fit-test.
  • Commit to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked workspace while ensuring proper upkeep of company equipment.
  • Be reachable by phone and actively participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Contribute to warehousing and other facility-related tasks as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations..

Experience/Education/Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of experience in building maintenance or construction preferred
  • 1 or more of IICRC Restoration Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.) preferred
  • 2 or more years as an experience Restoration Technician preferred
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
