TruNorth Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part-time Member Service Representative (Teller) to join their growing team. TruNorth Federal Credit Union is headquartered in Ishpeming, MI with over 40 employees with locations in Ishpeming and Marquette. This is a part-time nonexempt position expecting to work 20-29 hours at either of the branch locations primarily working the later shift until 6 p.m. during the week and frequently working Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A Member Service Representative (Teller) is responsible for providing excellent front-line member service while performing a broad variety of duties including opening/closing accounts, processing deposits/withdrawals, assisting members with checking account problems, performing a variety of account maintenance, and answering member questions regarding credit union products and service. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency, and a strong sense of personal integrity with the ability to communicate and work as a part of a larger team.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent
Minimum Experience: One year of customer service or cash handling related experience
Preferences:Experience in a financial institution. Post high school education or training.
Compensation: Minimum $14/hour. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications/experience. Full benefit package including:
