Then you found us. As a Right at Home After-Hours Scheduling Coordinator, you will provide after-hours and weekend support to our caregivers and clients. You will be responsible for managing schedule changes, callouts, no-call no-shows, re-staffing, late arrivals, missed clock-ins, urgent situations, and more.
Right at Home West LA provides nonmedical home care services to the elderly and disabled, with a focus on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, to enable our clients to continue living comfortably at home. As a Right at Home After Hours Scheduling Coordinator, your personality and skills will bring a better quality of life to seniors and adults with disabilities. 
Essential Job Tasks: 
  • Manage communication and coordination between caregivers and clients,
  • Utilize Wellsky to: Reviewing Shift Notes, Clocking Caregiver In and Out, and Scheduling Replacement Caregivers for Call-Outs/No-Shows.
  • Support Caregivers During their Shifts.
  • Answering Client Questions and prospective client calls including updating Wellsky (i.e. adding notes or creating initial call). 
  • Use a variety of communication methods when reaching out to caregivers, phone calls, emails, and texting.
  •  Utilize WellSky to document outcomes and follow-up communication with caregivers and clients. 
  •  Recap to the office team the following morning any calls received and outcomes the following: (including who called, time of call duration, and details of conversation).
  • Explain the plan of care to caregivers going to new clients during on-call shifts, as needed. 
  • Read assigned emails from office staff to stay up to date and provide reports to the office, if necessary. 
  • Answer any questions or concerns from the office staff as soon as you are able outside of the after-hours assignment. 
  • May be required to cover shifts if no-caregiver is found within the West Los Angeles area. 
  •  As an After-Hours Scheduling Coordinator, you will be working outside the RAH office after regular business hours.

Details of Compensation/Hours
1. After Hours Period: • Monday-Thursday 5 pm to 8:15 am • Friday 5 pm to Monday 8:15 am. Office team to call Mon-Friday at 8am for you to provide any updates from after-hours calls. 
2. Holidays**: the coordinator will be required to work holidays and will be compensated at a higher rate To be discussed at interview. 
3. Base Pay: You will be compensated $300.00 per week, less applicable taxes and withholdings, per completed “Work Week” of on-call Duties performed. Work week is Sunday to Saturday. Typical time spent is approximately 15-20 hours max per work week.
4. Payroll: You will be paid bi-weekly on Fridays via direct deposit. 
5. Benefits: 401K**, optional benefits (medical, dental and vision available), mileage at 0.80 per mile for errands with clients, and possible annual bonus. 
6. Phone/internet stipend: $50 per month to cover costs.
7. Bonus potential: Annual Bonus potential depending on profitability of office.

The ideal candidate must have a passion for helping others and possess strong skills in the following: 
· Phone etiquette 
· People skills and intuition 
· Home Care/Medical staffing experience 
· Organizational and problem-solving skills 
· Detail-oriented 
· Computer skills, WellSky experience strongly preferred
· Ability to take calls after hours, must be able to pick up calls during on-call times.

· Ability to obtain Home Care Aide License issued by the California Dept of Social Services
· Recent TB test
· Reliable transportation
· High School diploma
· Must reside within a commutable distance to 14th Street in Santa Monica (West LA), California area for training and possible emergency fill-in shifts.
