River Edge is presently in search of Part-time Mental Health Clinicians or recent master's degree graduates in the fields of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related behavioral health fields. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the mental health field, working with a dynamic team to provide crucial support and care to individuals in need. Benefits Offered:Competitive PayMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time Off12 Paid Holidays401k with an employer matchFlexible Spending AccountsShort and Long-term disability coverageLife InsuranceEmployee Discount ProgramDuties and Responsibilities:Conduct confidential behavioral health assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for clients in the permanent supportive housing units.Elicit client participation in the development of a solution-focused treatment plan to address important goals, objectives, and interventions.Participate in Individual counseling, Group counseling.Complete collaborative documentation.Identifies and provides intervention for potential crisis situations.Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and training programs as designed.Attend clinical supervision to increase skills and knowledge.Maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records, including case notes, treatment plan reviews, discharge planning, and Outcomes.Maintain working knowledge of treatment agencies and programs and a list of resources that can be shared with clients.Remain in compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, including all of River Edge's policies and procedures and Quality Assurance Plan, DBHDD requirements, State Licensing standards, County Monitoring requirements, and managed care regulations.QualificationsMaster's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related fieldAssociate License or Fully Licensed in either - LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW)Demonstrate knowledge and expertise with the chronically mentally ill population.All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.Provide 2 Professional reference Statements (Former employers only, no family members)Demonstrate expertise and knowledge in mental health and substance abuse services and community resources. Exemplify excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
