*This position is 16 hours weekly - Part Time*
The Clinton Presbyterian Community has a wonderful opportunity for a Registered Dietitian to join their Culinary team! As part of the management team, this position will be responsible for the completion of nutritional assessments and care plans, along with evaluating all aspects of the Food and Nutrition Services Department including regulatory compliance, sanitation, infection control and meal preparation.
Responsibilities for this leadership position include but not limited to:

• Assess the nutritional status of residents, consumption patterns, weight maintenance, food/drug interactions, dietary compliance, resident independence, and overall resident well-being.
• Performs assessments on new admissions for residents at nutritional risk.
• Ensures appropriate documental of nutritional assessment and recommended intervention in the resident chart and/or care plan; reviews the documentation of others regarding nutritional concerns and responds appropriately.
• Reviews diet orders and documentation of reasons of change.
• Maintains transactional communication with the Divisional Director of Culinary Services, Executive Director, Physicians, Nursing and Therapy Departments including recommendations on residents' nutritional care.
• Ensuring staff practices meet HACCP and infection control standards.
• Regularly monitoring and enforcing safety standards with staff.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Registered Dietitian
Skill: Management/supervisory experience as a Registered Dietitian. Microsoft software programs. Strong planning, organizing, leadership and team management skills.
