JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum requirements for formal education and job related experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution/college or university in Aviation Management Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field and 2 years in operational services management work; or an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Utilized in the performance of the essential functions of the job. • Knowledge of Federal, state and local regulation pertinent to airport management • Knowledge of airport maintenance requirements and necessary supplies, materials and equipment • Knowledge of principles and methods of airport management • Knowledge of budget preparation and monitoring techniques and procedures • Knowledge of FAA policies and regulation pertaining to the operation of airport and their security and access • Knowledge of airport construction and maintenance techniques and procedures • Knowledge of airport emergency procedures and practices • Skill in utilizing personal computer and associated software programs. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse individuals, both verbally and in writing • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work • Ability to organize, direct and implement plans and programs • Ability to develop reports and presentations License and Certification • Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License or obtain within 30 days of employment • Accredited Airport Executive by the American Association of Airport Executives within 3 years of employment
The physical requirements associated with performance of the Essential Job Functions. Physical requirements include carrying/lifting 20 lbs. and occasionally pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate telephone, personal computer, basic office equipment; subject to carrying, lifting, twisting, kneeling, standing and reaching to perform essential job functions.
