Key Responsibilities:

• Center Monitoring:
  • Maintain flexibility with respect to shift changes as needed to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Monitor facility operations, including medication distribution and housekeeping duties.
  • Warm-up and distribute meals to shelter guests with care and compassion.
  • Provide crisis prevention/intervention and supportive counseling as needed.
  • Conduct regular hallway checks and document observations.
  • Assist with transportation needs and distribute supplies accordingly.
  • Coordinate emergency shelter plans and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Uphold privacy standards and observe guests with dignity and respect at all times.
• Service Coordination Support:
  • Document client activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with minimal data entry tasks.
  • Report emergency situations promptly to on-call staff.
  • Collaborate with Service Coordinators to ensure client needs are addressed effectively.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Two years' experience in a social service-related field preferred.
• Ability to maintain appropriate behavior and personal boundaries.
• Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution.

Job Specifications

• Medium: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 100% of the time
