Customer Service
- Greet and Thank each customer at every opportunity
- Engage with customer asking open ended questions to allow for suggestive selling of items building the basket
- Take initiative to learn product, make gift recommendations, care when packaging purchase
- Answer phone in professional way to assist customers
- Rewards program, offer to everyone, know the benefits, sell the benefits, collect all information
- Ring sales, process all transactions accurately and according to GoodThings Guide
Merchandise
- Initiative to learn new products and keep up to date on all products
- Stay familiar with where items are located on the sales floor and in backstock
- Restock sales floor as needed, place new product as directed
- Provide customer with product information when selling
Requirements
Previous retail experience preferred, Flexible availability. Commitment to customer service excellence, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to stand/walk for entirety of shift, repetitively bend/lift/reach/twist, go up/down stairs to retrieve merchandise, and lift/move up to 40 pounds. Willingness to work on ladder. Manual dexterity to run the point-of-sale registers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
