- Prepare weekly schedules
- Inventory Accuracy
Oversee Merchandising
- Participate in store walk thru,
- Manage and direct store merchandiser to communicate visual objectives and provide direction
- Develop staff to support Goodthings guidelines
- Maintain inventory accuracy in receiving and transfers
- Provide feedback to buyers, communicating fast/slow sellers, customer requests
On floor supervision
- Provide excellent customer service, act as role model for team
- Open/Close store according to Goodthings guidelines
- Lead and delegate duties to team
General Store Maintenance
- Maintain a clean well-organized store and stockrooms
Prepare weekly schedules Misc.
- Assist in special projects, maintenance, cleanup and reorganization as needed
- React timely to fast-paced every changing retail environment
- Follow store policies, security procedures
- Additional schedule availability required during holiday seasons
- Act as first contact with alarm company and respond to alarm events
- Availability outside of scheduled shift to trouble shoot store events
- Flexibility in working shifts at other store locations to fill as needed
Requirements
Previous retail management experience preferred. Commitment to customer service, inventory accuracy, culture of selling. Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend/lift/reach/twist, go up/down stairs and ladders, lift or move up to 40 pounds.
