Suncoast Smash My Trash is seeking a motivated route driver to service customer accounts in the waste compaction industry. You will drive along an established route where you will operate a truck outfitted with compaction equipment. This is a physical, fast-paced outdoor position. You must have a safe driving record and follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. using maps and GPS to navigate.

Responsibilities

• Be an absolute service-minded advocate for our customers.
• Prospecting, schedule and perform demos.
• Proactively engage prospects & existing customers to maintain high renewals.
• Be a ridicoulously safe driver.
• Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions.
• Keep the truck clean and presentable.
• Complete job logs, mileage & inspections in our software.
• Must be trainable & pass our driver training.

Qualifications

• You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• You have people skills, a positive attitude, great energy, and a sense of humor to interact with a variety of personalities.
• You are well organized, detail-oriented & self-starting.
• You are well versed using routing & service apps on your smartphone.

Compensation & Benefits

• $16-18/hour based on experience .
• Paid Holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
