The ideal candidate should have some experience in metalworking and fabrication, be fluent in the 3D Rhino program
They should also be capable of using Photoshop and PDF presentations using images and captions. About the Artist: The Artist creates sculpture that transforms metal into geometric forms and Platonic shapes
Working in steel, bronze, and copper, the artist fabricates objects informed by science, philosophy, mathematics, nature, and antiquity
Using several techniques to transfer images onto metal of all scales, the artist imbues the forms with conceptual gravity, grounding them with steadfast formal value. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of an Art Studio in Brooklyn, NY
• Manage two part-time assistants
• Manage and contribute to a variety of projects in metalworking and fabrication
• Assist principal with photoshoots of artwork and installations
• Proficient in Photoshop
• Assist with website and social media content related to the art studio
• Conduct site visits to ensure standards and schedules are run properly
• Manage inventory of materials
• Interact with clients, contractors, and staff
• Support with website management (wix website)

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Studio Manager
• Art background is highly encouraged
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Photoshop
• Experience in metalworking and fabrication
• Must be fluent in the 3D Rhino program
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Prioritize executive tasks and multi-task effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office and Mac OSX; must be very tech-savvy
• Professional mindset and the utmost discretion
• Ability to work very independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Valid Driver's License a plus
• Valid US Work Authorization
