ROLE SUMMARY
Academic Team members at Valor Christian High School are charged with preparing tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ. Academic Team members live out a compelling relationship with Jesus Christ, which is central to daily instruction and interactions with students, parents and team members. Academic Team members are not only masters of the curriculum, but they see each student as the object of their affection and a unique individual to be known and loved. Academic Team members prepare students for college and mentor students in all aspects of their academic and spiritual development.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics are varied and include classroom, office, and outdoor events while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is also varied.
POSITION TYPE: A: Student-facing position. Traditional school calendar. Potential summer work. This position offices in-person.
HOURS PER WEEK: Part-time, non-exempt (10-20 hours a week)
