We are searching for entry level and skilled support staff members to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with at-risk young people. Supporting them in behavioral health management can help our clients live enriched lives!

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Training: Sufficient previous experience in working with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral challenges.

Our Mission at DTAC is to serve children, adolescents, and their families in a stable and safe environment where one’s potential, personal strengths and relationships are the basis for lifelong change and self- sufficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement a treatment plan that addresses the needs of the youth with input from the client, referring agency, and Mobile Therapist. All goals/objectives are to be realistic, obtainable, and measurable.
  • Coordinate scheduled appointments with families to provide therapeutic intervention on a consistent basis.
  • Provide for the safety, security, and appropriate social interaction and social behavior of all youth in the program.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions and maintain appropriate communication with significant others.
  • Present didactic education presentation to client, community, and coworkers as delegated by a supervisor.
  • Maintain professional documentation duties, i.e.: daily progress notes, case notes, incident reports, and other responsibilities delegated by the Mobile Therapist, Program Director, and Outpatient Operations Coordinator.
  • Demonstrate a standard of conduct that provides effective role modeling for client population and peer group.
  • Facilitate appropriate discipline through therapeutic intervention as needed and educate parents on same re-directive skills and techniques.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and supervisory conferences.
  • Improve level of competence through participation in on-going supervision and attend on and off-site training seminars.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the Mobile Therapist, Program Director, and Outpatient Operations Coordinator.

This position is Monday through Friday with rotating on call responsibilities. Hours will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the kids and the families that the CSBBH team serves in all environments.
