Responsibilities :
Access Control Security shall provide all labor, transportation, supervision, and support necessary to provide unarmed, and cleared and trained access control security specialists to support STARCOM activities at the Facility. Primary responsibilities include operating access control devices to control access to and from the Facility’s main entry and making timely and proper notifications to pre-identified STARCOM and possibly emergency responder personnel for Intrusion Detection System alarm activation or other security situations. Secondary responsibilities include basic administrative functions supporting access control such as issuing visitor badges and using entry access lists.
Qualifications:
DOD Secret Clearance
Security personnel shall be U.S. Citizens and must maintain at minimum a valid, active Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA)-issued security clearance at the Secret level or higher during contract performance. The Security Contractor shall obtain all necessary passes, badges, or other items required for access to perform contract services at the Facility. The Security Contractor shall not employ persons for work on this contract if such employee is identified to the contractor by authorities as a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well-being, or operational mission of the Facility and its population.
