Employment Opportunity: Spring Street School

POSITION: Physical Education Teacher (.7 FTE)

2024-2025 school year

The Shrewsbury Public Schools is seeking a .7 FTE Physical Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year for Spring Street School.

We are searching for an educator invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom.

Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender backgrounds and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications include:

●Provisional, Initial or Professional Licensure in Physical Education from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education preferred.

●Excellent communication skills with parents/caretakers and colleagues

●Demonstrates the values of Shrewsbury Public Schools and Sherwood Middle School

●Strong knowledge of elementary school student needs and programming

●Works flexibly in a changing school environment
