Workrise is Hiring a Part time Fleet coordinator Near Stanley, ND
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our transportation operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient transportation of goods, and optimizing the overall performance of the fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize fleet efficiency and minimize costs
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of fleet operations, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, such as fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and driver productivity
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and optimize supply chain processes
- Source and negotiate contracts with transportation providers to meet company needs
- Oversee the selection, training, and performance management of drivers
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Utilize data collection and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance schedules, and driver logs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
- Strong negotiation and sourcing skills to secure competitive rates from transportation providers
- Mechanical knowledge to oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
