Role:Construction Inspector (Upstream Oil and Gas)

Position Description:

  • Responsible for short- and long-term oil and gas upstream planning, and implementation of lease, facility, tank battery and pipeline distribution systems.
  • Review construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements.
  • Monitor construction progress and quality of workmanship to ensure adherence to project timelines and standards.
  • Provides direction to third party subordinates; ensures productivity, adherence to policies, effective performance score cards; practice and enforce safety rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Familiarity with inspections relating to tank battery builds, flowline/ pipeline installs, trenching, welding, and poly pipe fusing.
  • Visual Inspection of welds throughout project, monitor conformance to company standards prior to Nondestructive testing.
  • Collect data and document findings during inspections, including measurements, photographs, and written reports.
  • Management of project safety, quality, timelines, and cost.

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in Upstream Tank Battery Construction Inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis for reporting purposes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures in the Oil and Gas Production Industry.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders

Location: Carlsbad, NM

Hitch: 14/14

Pay Rate: $50-$85

Benefits

Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week

  • 12 hour shift

  • Tank Battery Construction: 5 years (Required)
