Foodland Super Market, Ltd., Hawaii's largest locally owned grocery retailer is hiring for Guest Services (full-time) to join our Foodland Market City family. This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).

We are looking for individuals who have strong customer service focused skills, are excellent communicators, highly motivated, detail oriented, positive, outgoing and organized. Guest Services provides superior customer service to all customers who visit Foodland and acts as a liaison between the store, shopping center and the surrounding community.

Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

• Maintain a positive, customer service-oriented attitude towards all customers, vendors, coworkers and the company
• Ensuring that all special orders are taken and created accurately, is up to Company quality standards, and ready on time for pick up
• Ensuring accurate and prompt delivery happens as requested for store orders
• If new items are requested, communicating these customer requests to the main office buyer in a timely manner
• Managing the will-call program
• Ensuring customers items are kept safe and well stored when they are left in the store and then picked up accurately
• Going the extra mile for all customer requests
• Executing and supporting all marketing promotions and programs
• Being the expert in knowing all items the store carries, if customers have certain food allergies or special diets, being able to help find them the correct products
• Coordinating orders and delivering items for Foodland to You service including:
• Ensuring correct products are selected and delivered; orders are prepared in a timely manner and meet set deadlines

Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• must pass math test and cashier training after hire
• must have TB clearance
• valid driver’s license with a clean driver abstract
• able to complete grocery deliveries
• able to lift, maneuver, and/or carry 50 pounds, at, above and below waist level
• able to successfully operate company systems and machines used for ordering, navigation, and transportation
