Christian Care Communities is currently seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide for our Christian Health Center located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Title: Cook/Dietary Aide

Shifts: Days 5:00 am to 1:30 pm

Status: Part-Time

Requirements for Cook/Dietary Aides:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years' experience in food service or dining service preferred
• 1 or more years' experience in a long-term healthcare setting

Responsibilities for Cook/Dietary Aides:

• The Cook/Dietary Aide/ is primarily responsible for performing assigned work and cleaning routines for the Dietary.
• Wrap silverware, get tray line started, prepare cart, place food items on trays, clean line and run dishes after lunch and supper.
• The Cook/Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving meals according to cycles menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparing meal service, and performing assigned work and cleaning routines for the Dietary Department while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organization standards.
• Working in a skilled nursing facility you will be paying attention to special diets such as pureed, chopped, low sodium, etc. Regular duties include wrapping silverware, working tray line, preparing meal carts, cleaning and dishwashing.
