Position Overview:
Are you a go-getter with a passion for barbecue and an unstoppable drive to succeed? We're seeking a dynamic Barbecue Ambassador to join our team as an Outside Salesperson. This role isn't just about making sales – it's about forging lasting connections, spreading Barbecue love, and being the face of our brand in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Be the ultimate Barbecue advocate, spreading the word about Dickey's Barbecue Pit and our irresistible menu offerings.
• Generate leads, build relationships, and close sales with potential clients, all while enjoying the freedom to work at your own pace.
• Choose your own adventure by targeting specific areas or potential guests that align with our brand values and offerings.
• Take ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, with the opportunity to enhance your earnings through delivery fees and tips if you opt to deliver orders.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for both Dickey's Barbecue Pit and KTR, LLC, embodying our commitment to quality, hospitality, and community engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in sales, with a knack for building rapport and closing deals.
• Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with people from all walks of life.
• Familiarity with the Louisville area and surrounding counties, including Southern Indiana, and a pulse on local events and opportunities is a plus.
• Must be a good steward of the Dickey's brand and KTR, LLC, upholding our values both on and off the job.

Additional Information:

• We understand that there may be times when the Barbecue Ambassador is not able to or prefers not to personally execute catering orders. In such instances, we will make available third-party and in-house drivers to ensure seamless delivery and execution.
• We offer several convenient means for booking orders, including our dedicated 866-Barbecue Catering Team, in-store point-of-sale systems, and an intuitive online portal. We strive to make the ordering process seamless and efficient for both our customers and our Barbecue Ambassadors.
