Position Overview

Provides holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients with Eating Disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient or residential higher level of care (HLOC) setting or in an outpatient setting with primary focus on clients in day programming (PHP/IDP).

How Licensed Practical Nurses Empower Recovery:

• Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
• Responsible with medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the inpatient and residential setting only, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
• Assists and support medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
• Provides medical care coordination between patient, provider, staff, family and outside care agencies as needed
• Serves as a staff resource for client medical needs and information
• Attends treatment meetings as applicable
• Adheres to policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accredited LPN Program
• Licensed as an LPN in the state of employment or compact state
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.

• Current Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days from date of hire
• Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting
