Responsible for receiving, tracking, maintaining custody of, and making decisions regarding the final disposition of property and evidence. Serves as the liaison for evidence and property matters between the City, general public and other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. Work is performed under limited supervision with considerable latitude in the use of initiative. Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures.

Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (levels to be determined by job classification requirements). Must have Federal Crime Information Center (FCIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification. Must have a valid Florida driver's license and satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
