Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Instructor/Tutor to join our ISU Adult Education team and provide instruction and tutoring in our evening GED program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to work with students of various ages and backgrounds. Position is located on campus of Idaho State University.
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance tutoring sessions.
- Assist students in understanding subject-specific content and concepts.
- Help students improve study skills and academic performance.
- Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring techniques as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
- Ability to present information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Experience in adult education is beneficial.
