LifeChurch Learning Center is Hiring a Van Driver Near Birmingham, AL

LifeChurch Learning Center is looking for a Part-Time Van Driver to transport school-age children to and from school daily.
Hour options for you are as follows- 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm = 10 hours per week @ $15 per hour.
You will be transporting children from local elementary schools and transporting them back to the Learning Center.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Working knowledge of first aid procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to apply for this position.

Other additional options for hours that may possibly be available at the time of the interview:
  • Watching elementary-aged children 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm each day Monday - Friday = 10 hours per week at $11.50 per hour.
  • Full-time options may also be available (9-6 pm) if desired.
General Responsibilities:
  • Being attentive to traffic and weather conditions and ensuring passenger safety.
  • Following the planned route and schedule for departure times and stops.
  • Regularly checking vehicle safety such as tires, brakes, turn signals, mechanical equipment, etc.
  • Reporting delays, accidents, and emergencies.
  • Responding to emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • Enforcing conduct and safety rules on the van.
  • Maintaining a clean vehicle.
