Hampton Roads Clinic (HRC) is dedicated to providing a unique and specialized program for adults with a long history of dependence on opiates, including prescription pain medications, heroin, and morphine. Our comprehensive outpatient treatment and recovery services are tailored to individuals with an opioid use diagnosis, offering evidence-based medication, such as methadone, prescribed by licensed physicians. In addition to medication, we offer a continuum of psycho-social services, including counseling, peer support, care coordination, and referrals to other social support services, to address the holistic needs of our clients.

HRC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Hampton Roads Clinic (HRC), you will play a vital role in the care and support of individuals on their journey to recovery from opioid dependence. Key responsibilities include Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment, Medication-Assisted Treatment with Methadone, Psycho-Social Services, Supportive Counseling, and Documentation and Record-Keeping.

Requirements: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Virginia State Board of Nursing and one year of experience in the administration of medication or in a substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long-term care facility including the dispensing of narcotic medication.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
