Direct Care Associate - Waiver (Part-time)

$19.09/hr. plus $2.50/hr. shift differential for evenings, overnights, and weekends

1. Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

2. Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

3. Sunday, Monday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, & Friday 7:00 am - 11:00 am

4. Friday 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, & Sunday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Part-time Direct Care Associate plays a vital role in the care and support of individuals living in group homes, with a particular focus on those facing mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. In this crucial position, the professional takes on the responsibility of ensuring the well-being of individuals with diverse physical, mental, and medical care needs, providing the essential support needed to enhance their overall quality of life. The core objective of this role is to empower individuals by facilitating skill development, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining or improving their health and safety. Additionally, the Part-time Direct Care Associate is responsible for medication administration and collaborating with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements: One year of direct care experience working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities or mental illness. CNA a plus.
