Marcum LLP is seeking an Office Assistant to join our growing and well established Operations team in the New York, NY office.

Responsibilities:

• Will answer phone and requests from executives and Associates and provide reception coverageOffice space softwareUpdate spreadsheets in excelGood communication skills requiredMS outlooks, excel and PowerPoint, adobe and picture art, researchAssist with events and season decorInvoicingAble to multi task and take on new responsibilityAble to take instructionsAssist with campus recruitingAdministrative workOrganize and maintain stockWilling to run general errands
• Assist with ad hoc requests
• Appropriate handling confidential and important materials.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic business, technology, switchboards and general office administration.
• 1 -2 years of experience
• Strong communication skills and follow-through are required for this position.
• Proactively seeks ways to assist internal and external clients
• Professional demeanor
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in the NYC office Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm.
