New City Kids is Hiring a Teen Music Teacher Near Grand Rapids, MI
VISIONNew City Kids is a place where children and teens come to experience love, life and transformation. Our goal is to help children understand their God given value. We expect children and teens to be leaders. We don’t just expect it, we train for it. All teens who come to New City are given extensive training in leadership and other life skills. All teens are invited to become involved in our various worship bands, missions trips, performing arts opportunities and small groups. General Description of ASC
During the regular school year New City has an after school center that includes an art and music component as well as academic support. Children are given the opportunity to choose classes based on their interests (keyboards, drums, kickboxing, drama, art, rap etc.) For one hour students attend their class and for a second hour they complete homework with an assigned tutor. Tutors are coached by New City’s adult staff and teen music teachers are taught by a professional musician 1x/week in both music and teaching so that they will be able to better teach their class.
