Horn and Associates in Rehabilitation, P is Hiring a Client Support Specialist Near Lexington, KY

Are you seeking a part time position with a great work environment? We are seeking a personable front office assistant/receptionist for our multidisciplinary rehabilitation practice for speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and behavioral health. The Client Support Specialist is a front desk position, which will assist with scheduling, medical billing, answering client questions, and general office work. Experience with medical EMR and Availity preferred, but not required. This is an hourly position. The ideal candidate will be available until close at 5:30PM. There is a possibility for full time status down the road for the right candidate (if needed). Resumes may be emailed to info@horntherapy.com or faxed to (859) 224-4082.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Scheduling for multi-therapy
  • Answer telephone/route calls
  • Performing multi-therapy professional billing and coding and ensuring adherence to all regulatory billing and coding guidelines.
  • Requesting pre-authorizations and doctors’ orders/referrals
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date
  • Make copies, fax, send scanned documents
  • Answering client questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Compile and process various reports, records, tracking systems, and notifications to fulfill regulatory and internal reporting requirements which could include billing
  • Working insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
  • Calling insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits
  • Working accounts receivables

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree preferred, but not required in lieu of experience.
  • Minimum one-year general office experience preferably in billing
  • Must be proficient in the Windows operating system
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems a plus!

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday Day Shift
  • Part-Time schedule to be discussed
  • Must be available for closing shift. Our office closes at 5:30PM.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Interviews will be conducted starting the week of May 6th.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
