Job Description: Concessions Supervisor

Reports To: Executive Director

FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Concession Manager to oversee our concession operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in hospitality management. The Concessions Supervisor’s duties include baking, set up and clean-up of concession booth, serving food & beverage orders, processing cash/credit card payments & maintaining food/beverage inventories.

Essential Functions

• Manage all aspects of the concession stand.
• Supervise and manage concessions for all performances.
• Ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Train and supervise concession volunteers.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Ability to make alcoholic drinks as ordered by patrons.
• Prepare baked goods prior to shows.
• Monitor inventory levels and order/shop for supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for product deliveries.
• Clean and organize the kitchen/concession area to maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with planning special events that require catering.
• Supervise and train concession volunteers.

Experience/Skill Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or food industry management
• Proficiency with Clover POS system is preferred
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to cook and prepare food items
• Knowledge of catering services is a plus
• Culinary background is desirable
• Proficient in food handling and safety procedures.
• Solid understanding of food production processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of Clover POS is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs other job duties and tasks as assigned by the executive director.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise and train concession volunteers.

Minimum Qualification Guidelines

• ServeSafe Manager Certification.
• Food Handlers Certification.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
