About the position

The purpose of the Service Coordinator is to provide support in Electrical Service Department as well as field personnel to provide the highest level of customer service and promotes a professional office environment.

Day in the life

• Responsible for taking incoming service calls for electrical service estimate requests or emergency service for ArchKey Sachs regional operations.
• Assist with taking incoming service calls.
• Assist technician & field manager with miscellaneous memos & paperwork needed to best serve the job or customer.
• Dispatching local labor force working alongside account/project managers.
• Pulling the necessary paperwork or backup for pricing and re-pricing of proposals.
• Assist with entering in the necessary information in the Account Managers daily calendar.
• Receive, expedite, and return contracts sent in by customers.
• Pull original proposals for awarded jobs, make necessary copies, confirm with customer that the approved proposals were received, and schedule with the customer.
• Maintain quality control to ensure services meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Works closely with customers to develop a good relationship with clients and Account Managers.
• Works with project/account managers to provide labor for scheduled jobs.
• Works independently to develop work with existing and new customers.
• Continuing education to develop strength within the Service Department.
• Expedites ordering rental equipment for dispatch jobs.
• Runs Bi-Weekly Open Jobs report to ensure all jobs are closed out or updated in the system.
• Assist other department functions as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Individual must be highly organized and effectively manage time to perform essential duties within specific deadlines for the project or task.
• Knowledge of Technical/Electrical terminology is essential to competently communicate with technicians and Clients.
• Training or equivalent combination of related experience for a period of one year or a combination or experience and or training is required.
• Previous experience in role of dispatching or coordinating work for a service organization.
• Experience in Salesforce application or similar software used for work order management, dispatching & reporting.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages.
