The Orvis Company is Hiring a Remote Orvis Fly-Rod Winder (onsite, not remote)
Position Description A Rod Winder manually winds thread wraps on fly rods to specification. Please note: this position works on-site at the Rod Shop (M-F, 7:00am – 3:30pm). This is not a remote position. We support a healthy work/life balance with a M-F daytime shift that ends mid-afternoon – no evening or night shifts, no mandatory weekends. This is a full-time position.
Our starting rate is $15/hour and we offer a $500 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days of employment.

High school diploma
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Patience with repetitive and detailed work
Attention to detail and ability to perform with accuracy
Experience with sewing, crafts, or other fine handwork is preferred
