JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION
Our Junior Accountant provides a broad range of bookkeeping and administrative support including: customer service, data entry, electronic document filing, general administrative duties and daily processing of payments, invoices, income, and receipts. You will work hand in hand with our Accountant Manager to ensure the books and records are complete, accurate, and kept up to date.

Your overall role in this Company is to alleviate some daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks from the Walter’s 303 Pizzeria management to pave the way for our continued growth and expansion. 
PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES
  • Work hand in hand with our Accounting Manager to learn our accounting processes, deliverables, and timelines. 
  • Daily and weekly transaction processing within our accounting system (Restaurant 365).
  • Prepare the Monthly reconciliation of bank, credit card, and various other financial accounts for each restaurant location and management company. 
  • Work with third parties to resolve accounting issues via email, phone calls, and/or video chats like MS Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet.
  • Basic monthly accrual and reversing journal entries.
  • Reading, researching, collecting, writing, editing, proofreading and analyzing of financial information and documents.
  • Be a self-starter and work both independently as well as in a team.
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to details.
  • Be creative and problem-solve.
  • Prepare, maintain and retrieve confidential documents in an electronic filing system.
  • Coordinate filing and other key administrative duties. 
  • A cellular telephone and fast and reliable internet is required for working remotely.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.
Benefits:

  • Semi-remote and flexible schedule.
Schedule:
  • Part-time: 20-30 hours a week.
  • Primarily work Monday - Friday.
  • Exact days and hours are flexible and TBD.
Supplemental Pay:
  • Annual performance-based bonus (based on individual and company performance).
Requirements: 
  • Must be located in Colorado or intending to relocate by hire date.
  • Ability to meet in person during scheduled work hours (as needed) at Denver, Littleton, or (occasionally) Colorado Springs locations.
  • 1-3 years of related experience (preference given to those who have prior restaurant accounting experience).
  • Fast and reliable internet (to access cloud-based systems).
  • A working familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and Adobe
  • Highly skilled with MS Excel, i.e. familiar with formulas, pivot tables, and analyzing data. 
  • Understands the appropriate line of communication for each situation.
  • Availability for phone and email correspondence during scheduled work hours each week.
