About UsCyberEd Smart is a new development of Cybersecurity Intelligence & Education firm, ISMG, aiming to redefine how cyber risk is managed for organizations while powering the shift towards company-wide security competence.

We’re able to compliment this service with our proprietary cybersecurity training & education library which includes 897 hours of Cyber-Warrior training designed into 15 separate learning paths, original coursework addressing Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Beginners, along with Regulatory Compliance Requirements for every Federal & European rule book.
Additionally, our platform houses educational lectures given by thought leaders from over 600 global event presentations & a Master Class series of over 30 individual courses taught be well-known industry experts like John Kindervag, Dr. Chase Cunningham, Chuck Brooks, Dr. Nikki Robinson, Dr. Char Sample, Ari Redbord, Lynn Peachey, Sam Curry, Richard Bird, Jeremy Grant & many more. The OpportunityCyberEd is looking for a Technical Curriculum Developer who will contribute to the development of our cybersecurity learning courses & practice experiences. In this role, you'll leverage your subject matter expertise in the industry to create content for our education library & ensure that our cybersecurity training curriculum is relevant, engaging, & delivered in a way that enhances the learner experience. 

As Technical Curriculum Developer, your work will be instrumental in ensuring the product supports CyberEd's overall vision & strategy while meeting customer satisfaction & revenue goals. You'll own all planning & execution efforts, throughout the product lifecycle, such as gathering & prioritizing product & customer requirements, defining the product vision, & working closely with our internal development, sales, marketing, & support teams to drive cross-functional alignment. Additionally, you will utilize product management skills to help streamline production, ensuring timely & efficient delivery of content to the platform.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the product strategies & defining requirements/roadmaps to ensure revenue targets & customer satisfaction goals are met with consistent company vision.
  • Producing digital coursework & training content utilizing Articulate - reviewing topics, developing course information, writing scripts, etc.
  • Building & executing go-to-market response strategies to effectively communicate CyberEd’s value proposition.
  • Make creative recommendations to expand product base & vision.
  • Utilizing cutting edge tools like generative AI authoring & editing for video production, art/design, & written content.
  • Producing & reviewing product requirement documents (PRD) with prioritized features & corresponding justification.
  • Running beta & pilot programs with early-stage products & samples.
  • Collecting, analyzing, & incorporating feedback from customers, partners, in-house teams, & other stakeholders on product strategy & shaping requirements, features & end products accordingly.
  • Acting as a leader within the organization & working proactively within the CyberEd team & cross-functionally to manage products from concept to launch with innovation & precision.
  • Ensuring products & releases are launched correctly and on schedule.

What you’ll bring for success

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related fields.
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Curriculum Developer, Instructional Designer, Training Content Developer, or similar role.
  • Experience in the Cybersecurity/Information Security field, possessing strong subject matter expertise & a demonstrated ability to research & learn new topics quickly in order to create relevant content.
  • Experience in full product lifecycle management & proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Demonstrated success defining & launching excellent products.
  • Digital media/content creation skills is a plus – experience creating & editing videos, ideally towards building digital training courses.
