What does the job entail?

This role will require a cross-functional thought leader capable of identifying opportunities and driving meaningful results across a wide array of businesses and processes. While the immediate focus will be managing two critical product platforms, you’ll be expected to constantly evaluate, strategize, and reprioritize your efforts to the highest-impact work.

This position is responsible for managing our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, a platform that facilitates and tracks product development from concept through production. This position supports all PLM users, conducts ongoing training, and helps drive PLM enhancements across functional departments. In addition to their responsibilities as the PLM platform owner, this person will be part of our Supply and Demand Planning Platform, ensuring the right products are forecasted, delivered, and allocated to channels to maximize sales. 

This position requires both a tactical approach to the PLM system and downstream product applications and strategic insight into integrating people and processes to evolve and enhance the user experience and its role in the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

Product Applications

  • Manage the relationship with Centric PLM to ensure costs, resources, and platform capabilities effectively support and accelerate our core product functions in service of delivering on-time, on-margin, and high-quality products
  • Build deep domain expertise of our products and metadata so you can architect scalable models to ensure current and future line plans can be supported through the Allbirds ecosystems
  • Align on and manage the key data sources and integrations that are required for both workflows in the PLM as well as dependent downstream systems (POS, Commerce, PIM, ERP, Planning, etc)
  • Partner with product and other business stakeholders to ensure that both operational process and system capabilities facilitate product data that is complete, timely, consistent, and accurate
  • Partner with Data Platform team to establish and maintain data governance frameworks in the service of data quality, focused on key product concepts around the product line, costing, planning, assortment, and pricing

Supply & Demand Planning

  • Manage the relationship with Anaplan to ensure costs, resources, and product capabilities are effectively supported. 
  • Accelerate our planning function in service of efficient and accurate demand and supply planning
  • Oversee the development and measure the success of our planning models, driving new features, enhancements, and alignment with the various stakeholders in the organization

What do we offer?

The pay range for this role is: $153,000 - $161,000 if performed in either our San Francisco, CA or Portland, OR corporate office. This role can also be performed remotely. The pay range for this position is $130,000 - $138,000, if performed outside of our two corporate offices.

Allbirds routinely evaluates pay rates, and the ranges are subject to change based on market rates and other considerations. We factor in a number of components when determining starting pay, including the job and level you are hired into, location, skillset, experience and peer compensation.
