General

As the Specialist, Retail Events and Engagement you’ll oversee projects and initiatives that directly engage/delight customers and employees. These include but are not limited to, overseeing the deployment and ongoing development of LoyalBirds, the Allbirds clienteling program, and community events in stores. You’ll also oversee employee engagement activities, including the retail-specific Flockstar Recognition Program. 

We’re looking for a highly motivated, people-focused individual who finds joy in bringing joy to our customers and fellow Birds! 

What does the job entail?

Clienteling/Store Events 

  • Manage all facets of LoyalBirds, the Retail Clienteling program 
  • Oversee the relationship with the vendor (Endear) and implement enhancements
  • Develop and deploy clienteling campaign/communication strategies 
  • Analyze reporting data to measure program effectiveness and the ROI
  • Manage ongoing clienteling resource and training development 
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders
  • Identify and foster relationships with external event partners

Employee Engagement 

  • Manage the Flockstar Recognition Program end-to-end
  • Identify and execute initiatives that celebrate Retail employees grounded in gratitude 
  • Develop contest strategies that engage employees and support commercial objectives 
  • Manage contest budget 
  • Support annual Retail specific meetings/conferences (e.g. Back to the Birdhouse Store Leader Conference)

More Practical Skills Needed?

  • BA/BS degree or relevant work experience in lieu of degree
  • 3 years of Retail field management experience a plus
  • 3 years in an Operations role preferred, particularly supporting retail, but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to generate and interpret complex reporting 
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels in the organization, including C-Suite
  • Comfortable working in cross functional teams 
  • Ability to manage a project end to end (conception to execution) 
  • Highly organized 
  • Creative and thrifty
  • High touch and client centric
  • Flexible work style 
  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)

  • Ability to travel 3-5 times a year

Work Environment

Work takes place in an office or home setting. This job may require working more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours a week. It requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time and communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone and by computer. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift, push, and carry up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 15 lbs occasionally.

What do we offer?

The pay range for this role is: $67,000 - $80,000 and is remote eligible. 

Allbirds routinely evaluates pay rates, and the ranges are subject to change based on market rates and other considerations. We factor in a number of components when determining starting pay, including the job and level you are hired into, location, skillset, experience and peer compensation.
