Juniper Landscaping of Florida LLC is Hiring a Remote Regional Recruiter

Juniper is Growing! We are seeking a Regional Recruiter to join our growing team. This position works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager in the areas of recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new employees in administrative, management, and hourly field-level positions. This position can be a remote home-office based position. You must be located within a 2-hour drive of our Orlando/Ocala Branches. Travel is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting: review of applications and resumes, sourcing for passive talent, conducting phone screenings and formal interviews, submitting slates of recommended candidates to hiring managers, preparing offer letters, performing pre-employment screening (MVRs and Background Checks), onboarding, and maintaining correspondence with the new hires to promote highest level candidate experiences.
  • Field-level staffing strategies: planning and execution of staffing strategies for hourly field-level positions which will include partnering with branch managers to anticipate and fulfill crew staffing needs and establishing local recruiting plans for each branch location. Establish networks and participate in recruiting activities, including grassroot recruiting events, job fairs and advertising campaigns.
  • Orientation and onboarding: Conduct orientation and onboarding for new employees, which may include electronic or manual onboarding processes. Complete and/or oversee the completion of all new hire paperwork to ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Advertising and sourcing: Utilize the applicant tracking system to manage a strong candidate reserve. Build talent pipelines via sourcing within job boards, employment platforms, and social media activity. Maintain social media advertising for hiring needs.
  • Administration and compliance: Maintain complete and compliant records related to candidates and hiring decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Support the HR department with special requests and/or projects, as required.

Requirements:

  • High-school diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (oral and written)
  • Experience in the landscaping, environmental services, or construction industries highly preferred
  • Experience using social media platforms, including Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and collaborative working relationships built on trust
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems, preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail, and solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deliver within deadlines and re-prioritize responsibilities with a sense of urgency
  • Outgoing and self-motivated
  • Ability to travel as needed for training, recruiting events, hiring needs and onboarding of employees from new acquisitions
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
