HORUS Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior Technical/Content Writer to join our Grants Peer Review project team.

A top candidate would be very client focused. To be a strong team player you must be proactive in identifying issues and risks, and work with the client and the team to be a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

• Create, write, format, and edit summary statement documents (in Microsoft Word format) from the committee review notes spreadsheet.
• Asist in the setup of the summary statement document
• Review and analyze comments provided for the discretionary grant application in the committee review notes spreadsheet and produce a summary statement document draft
• Collaborate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Alternate Contracting Officer Representative (ACOR) to ensure an accurate, relevant, and well-organized summary statement document draft
• Has experience determining and notifying management if conflict of interest exists with respect to any peer reviewer and/or grant application information assigned
• Participate in trainings provided by the Division of Grant Review staff
• Maintain confidentiality of all peer reviewer information and grant application information in accordance with current and pertinent Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Support likely to be provided remotely.

Qualifications

• At least two years of analytical, writing, formatting, copy-editing experience required, as well as experience with Microsoft Office.
• Grant-writing subject matter content experience preferred.
• Journalism (or similar) preferred but may be substituted by four years of experience
