Snail Games USA is Hiring a Remote Game Development Coordinator

Location: Remote - this position is fully remote but limited to applicants residing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules and workflows to ensure timely completion of game development milestones and deliverables.

  • Facilitate communication between different teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Manage playtesting activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating playtest sessions, and collecting feedback from testers.

  • Test game features and functionalities to identify and report bugs, glitches, and performance issues.

  • Write Blueprint scripts to implement gameplay mechanics, UI elements, and other interactive features within the game engine.

  • Manage assets in the game engine, including organizing, importing, and optimizing art, audio, and other content assets.

  • Provide light production support, assisting with tasks such as asset creation, level design, and content integration.

  • Develop and maintain production processes and documentation to streamline workflows and ensure consistency across projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, engineers, and QA testers, to resolve issues and drive project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Game Development, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in game development or project coordination, with a strong understanding of the game development process.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine, as well as version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Familiarity with writing Blueprint scripts in Unreal Engine to implement gameplay mechanics and interactive features.

  • Passion for gaming and a keen eye for detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences to players.

  • Experience with scripting and asset management in game engines is a plus.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $20-$30/hr Exact base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
